What is a Foundation Course?
If you are an international student finishing your high school exams, have completed fewer than 13 years of education, and wish to study for your first degree at a UK university, you will need to complete a foundation course. Foundation Course Entry Requirements
A minimum IELTS score of 4.5 is required for international students wishing to study a foundation course in the UK, with no single element below 4.0. If you do not hold formal English qualifications, you may need to complete an English language course prior to starting your foundation programme. Documents and entry requirements typically include:
