McMaster University, founded in 1887 in Toronto, was relocated to Hamilton in 1930 and became a public university in 1957. Senator William McMaster was the founder of this university. It had only three divisions in the early days - Arts, Science, and Divinity. Accommodation
McMaster University has nine residence buildings for international student accommodation. McMaster residence services are based on a first-come-first-serve basis, and your application will be considered if you have paid in advance and filled out the registration form for on-campus residence. The University also provides an option to book a virtual residence tour.
Location
McMaster University has four campuses in Canada - Burlington, Niagara, Downtown Hamilton, and Kitchener-Waterloo. All locations are well connected with the city centre. Here students can enjoy the nightlife in popular restaurants and bars nearby. Also, there are many shops near the university campus for those who love books.
Hamilton is the ninth largest city in Canada, with a total population of over half a million.
