Established in 1967, Central Queensland University (CQUniversity) is home to over 30,000 students following courses in diverse study areas like business, accounting, law, visual arts, education, humanities, engineering, and health. CQUniversity is popular for its affordable tuition fees (undergraduate fees are 6% less and postgraduate fees are 12% less than other Australian universities) and excellent student services, providing students with a supportive and flexible learning environment.

Accommodation
International students at CQUniversity can choose from a range of accommodation options to suit their needs and budget. CQUniversity offers two on-campus residences, which are safe, convenient, affordable, and equipped with a number of facilities like free laundry services and WiFi.
If students wish to live off campus, they can opt for managed student accommodation – large centres of fully-furnished apartments with 24‑hour support. Alternatively, students can rent an apartment or a house with housemates.
Location
CQUniversity has the largest physical presence of any university in Australia, with 12 campuses located across four states. The university’s main campus in Rockhampton (Rockhampton North Campus) is a tranquil and picturesque oasis, boasting lush greenery and over 30 academic buildings.
The Rockhampton North Campus is fully equipped with specialised learning facilities such as engineering and allied health precincts, medical and paramedical science laboratories, a digital media studio, and a three‑level library. Students can also take advantage of the on-campus café, lounges, and the sports centre for relaxation and recreation activities.
Rockhampton is located in sunny Queensland – a beautiful tropical state home to rainforests, golden beaches, and exciting wildlife. When not studying, students can enjoy Australia’s unique natural beauty, like hiking in the Mt. Archer National Park or visiting the Koorana Crocodile Farm.
