Overview

Oklahoma City University is a private educational institution that is historically affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1904 as Epworth University and has a long history of providing students with a high-quality education. It offers more than 70 undergraduate majors, 20 graduate programs and two doctoral degrees, apart from various pre-professional programs in various fields, including business, law, education, performing arts, nursing, and theology, among others. 

The university is particularly known for its excellent performing arts programs, which include the Bass School of Music, the Wanda L. Bass School of Theatre, and the Ann Lacy School of Dance and Entertainment.

Oklahoma City is the capital of the US State of Oklahoma and is known for its cowboy culture. The city has a rich cultural scene having many museums, art galleries, and theatres, and organizes a number of annual events that the students get to enjoy during their university years. It is one of those cities that lets you truly have a great experience without the very high costs of living and traffic congestion that is prevalent in other major US cities.
