The University of Birmingham Dubai is the first global Top 100 and Russell Group university to establish a campus in Dubai. It brings over 100 years of British academic heritage to the UAE, having been founded in the UK in 1900 as the first civic university. The Dubai campus, which opened its new state-of-the-art building in 2022, is designed to support up to 3,000 students.

Accommodation
International students usually stay at The Myriad Dubai, a large student living community located in Dubai International Academic City. It is a short walk or a very quick drive from the campus. Students can choose between single rooms, twin rooms, or studios, all with their own bathrooms.
Location
The campus is located in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), a special zone dedicated to schools and universities. This area is about 20 to 30 minutes away from Downtown Dubai and the Dubai International Airport (DXB) by car.
Nearby, students can find Dubai Silicon Oasis, which has many shops, restaurants, and cafes. This location offers a quiet environment for studying while still being close enough to the busy city centre for weekend trips.
