Lakehead University is known for offering a personalised approach to learning with a global perspective. The University caters to approximately 8,500 students, including 1,500 international students, and offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate courses. The University has two campuses in Thunder Bay and Orillia in Canada.
The University caters to over 57 fields such as Biology, Sociology, Education, Women's Studies, Forestry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics and Anthropology at undergraduate and postgraduate level, plus more.
The University also offers a study abroad and exchange student program that supports students who are already studying at other universities and wish to be part of Lakehead.

Accommodation
Lakehead University offers a list of various housing options where students can find accommodation on rent. The University offers on-campus residency where students need to register to confirm their place. Residence students can enjoy various advantages, including social events and security options. Students can also choose to live off campus.
Location
Lakehead University has two primary campuses in Thunder Bay and Orillia in Ontario. Apart from this, Lakehead also offers a few selected programs in collaboration with Georgian College, giving students an option to explore the Georgian campus as well.
The Thunder Bay Campus is conveniently located in the heart of the city, on the north shore of Lake Superior, with superior connectivity. Students can easily access the Thunder Bay campus through an underground tunnel connecting many centralised buildings.
