{"id":246121,"date":"2026-02-24T09:33:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T04:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/scholarship\/great-scholarship-10\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T09:33:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T04:03:37","slug":"great-scholarship-10","status":"publish","type":"scholarship_articles","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/study-in-uk\/scholarships\/kent\/great-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"GREAT Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text text--underlined-links\">\n<h4 class=\"text__title\">Scholarship value<\/h4>\n<p>&pound;10,000<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"deadline\" class=\"text text--underlined-links\">\n<h4 class=\"text__title\">Deadline<\/h4>\n<div class=\"text__body\">\n<p>24 April 2026, 5pm BST<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"text__title\">Criteria<\/h4>\n<div class=\"text__body\">\n<p>To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>\n<p>Be a Ghanaian, Indian, Kenyan, Malaysian, Nigerian, Thai or Turkish passport holder and live in Ghana, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand or T&uuml;rkiye, and be assessed as an overseas fee payer;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Have received a conditional offer&nbsp;for a one year full time course at one of our UK campuses and have accepted this before the deadline date of 24 April 2026;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Have submitted an expression of interest for the GREAT scholarship (please see below for full details)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be starting your course in September 2026;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be active in the field with work experience or proven interest in the subject area;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be willing to embody the UK Higher Education experience, by attending lectures and tutorials and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Represent the high standards of the GREAT brand by becoming an advocate for scholarships; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2026 only<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the GREAT scholarship cannot be awarded in conjunction with any other scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who have applied for a PCert or PDip programme are not eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who have applied for a two year course, including those with a year in industry or integrated masters are not eligible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-246121","scholarship_articles","type-scholarship_articles","status-publish","hentry","scholarship_destination-study-in-uk"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles\/246121","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/scholarship_articles"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/scholarship_articles"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/sri-lanka\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=246121"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
