Overview

Bridgewater College is a private educational institution that serves as a liberal arts college and is located in Bridgwater, Virginia. It was founded in 1880 and has been imparting quality education through various programs. The college offers more than 60 majors and minors in the arts and sciences. It also provides graduate programs in Athletic Training and Digital Media Strategy. Currently, over 1800 students are enrolled at the college. 

At Bridgewater College, students get the opportunity to study abroad through its BCA Study Abroad program and other summer travel courses. It also offers the Flory Honors Program, which gives access to many benefits and opportunities to the Flory Fellows.

Location

The college is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and has a campus spreading 300 acres. Students can visit the Civil War Battlefields, national parks, and restaurants with local foods in their free time. The nearby cities of Staunton, Harrisony, and Charlottesville give numerous arts and cultural opportunities to students. If they wish to go for breaks over the weekend, the Washington DC Metropolitan Area is only two hours away.
