For over 30 years, the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) has been educating students across its Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses. UNDA offers a personalised, supportive academic experience where students can develop their skills in a vibrant learning environment while gaining hands-on experience through practical work placements.
Notre Dame is dedicated to preparing students for fulfilling careers by equipping them with transferable skills that are valuable across all industries, vocations, and professions. From day one, students engage in real-world learning through internships and volunteering programmes, which are embedded in every degree. 77.1% of Notre Dame’s undergraduates were employed full-time four to six months after finishing their studies, according to the results of the 2021 Graduate Outcomes Survey.
Depending on their previous qualifications and career goals, students can choose from undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher degree by research programmes offered across three faculties:

- Faculty of Education, Philosophy, and Theology
- Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Sciences

Services
Notre Dame provides a range of support services to help students achieve academic and personal success throughout their university journey. The Student Success team offers free academic support on topics such as referencing, academic integrity, time management, assignment writing, critical reading, note-taking, interpreting assessment feedback, and managing exam anxiety. This support is delivered through workshops and one-on-one appointments with a Learning Advisor.
International students can also take part in UNDA’s mentoring programmes, which pair them with experienced student mentors to help ease their transition to life in Australia. For those needing additional help with their English language skills, Notre Dame offers dedicated language support to assist with academic studies.

Accommodation
The University of Notre Dame Australia offers a range of accommodation options for students at its campuses. The university's Fremantle and Sydney campuses offer on-campus accommodation for students in the form of residential colleges. These colleges provide students with a supportive living environment, including fully furnished single or shared rooms, meal plans, and access to study and social facilities. The Broome campus does not offer on-campus accommodation, but students can access off-campus accommodation options through the university's accommodation service.
Location
The University of Notre Dame Australia has two campuses in Sydney, Broadway and Darlinghurst, and another located in Perth. The Broadway Campus features leafy courtyards and distinctive heritage buildings, equipped with modern facilities including a theatre room, computer lab, communications lab, library, moot court, and an early childhood room. The Darlinghurst Campus specialises in preparing students for health-related careers and includes facilities such as simulation labs and nursing wards.
In their free time, students at UNDA’s Sydney campuses can visit iconic landmarks like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, explore charming niche markets, or take a scenic train ride to the Blue Mountains to view the Three Sisters at Echo Point Lookout. In Western Australia, the Perth Campus is located in Fremantle’s historic West End, about 30 minutes from the city centre. The campus is set in beautifully restored heritage buildings surrounded by cafés and offers state-of-the-art facilities such as gyms and health science laboratories.
Both cities are well-connected globally, with international airports nearby. Notre Dame’s Perth campus is approximately 30 minutes from Perth International Airport, while the Sydney campuses are just 20 minutes from Sydney Airport.
