{"id":212042,"date":"2020-09-02T09:06:38","date_gmt":"2020-09-02T09:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/philippines\/study-info\/philippines-uk-study-info-clearing\/"},"modified":"2025-10-09T18:36:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T10:36:21","slug":"clearing","status":"publish","type":"gsi_study_info","link":"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/philippines\/study-in-uk\/study-info\/clearing\/","title":{"rendered":"UCAS Clearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What is UCAS Clearing?<\/h2>\n<p>UCAS Clearing is for students who are unable to secure an offer from a UK university for three main reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They applied after the June 30th deadline<\/li>\n<li>Exam results fell short of the conditional offer requirements<\/li>\n<li>No offers were received, or no offers were accepted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clearing is how UK universities fill vacancies on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/philippines\/study-in-uk\/course-search\/\">courses<\/a> which begin in September, the start of the new academic year. Clearing begins each year in July and lasts until September.<\/p>\n<h2>UCAS Clearing Help<\/h2>\n<p>We can assist students in finding available courses at UK universities from July onwards.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Receive free clearing advice<\/h3>\n<p>Arrange your free consultation\u00a0to learn more about available\u00a0undergraduate courses\u00a0for\u00a0September entry\u00a0at UK universities.<\/p>\n<p>Your personal consultant\u00a0will go through the Clearing list with you, discussing\u00a0subject options\u00a0and university locations.<\/p>\n<h3>2. We will contact universities on your behalf<\/h3>\n<p>Once we have established which courses and universities you are interested in, your consultant will contact institutions on your behalf to find out if they are interested in accepting you as a student.<\/p>\n<h3>3.\u00a0Consider your Clearing offer<\/h3>\n<p>After we have contacted universities on your behalf, you may be informally offered a place at a number of institutions. If you are unfamiliar with the university, research the institution, area and accommodation options.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Accepting an offer and adding a Clearing choice to UCAS<\/h3>\n<p>If you decide to accept an offer, you will need to enter your Clearing choice through UCAS.
