They cannot apply for tuition fees or maintenance loans through UK government funding schemes.<\/p>\n<p>Financial support for EU students will be available via international student finance options such as <a href=\"https:\/\/gostudyin-dev.com\/nigeria\/study-in-uk\/study-info\/scholarships\/\">scholarships<\/a>, grants, or bursaries, depending on individual circumstances.<\/p>\n<h3>Tuition Fee Loan for EU Students<\/h3>\n<p>You must have settled or pre-settled status under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/settled-status-eu-citizens-families\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EU Settlement Scheme<\/a> to apply for a tuition fee loan. Without this status, EU students must fund their tuition through other means, such as private funding or scholarships.<\/p>\n<h3>Maintenance Loan for EU Students<\/h3>\n<p>A maintenance loan is available to help with living costs while studying in the UK, but certain conditions apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>: Maintenance support is available to EU students who have lived in the UK, Gibraltar, the EEA, or Switzerland for at least five years before the start of their course.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Loan Amount<\/strong>: The amount a student receives depends on where they live and study within the UK.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Repayment<\/strong>: Maintenance loans must be repaid only after the student has graduated and is earning over a certain threshold (currently \u00a327,295 per year as of 2024).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Financial Support<\/h3>\n<p>Extra financial help and support are available to students who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Have children<\/strong>: Childcare grants and other forms of support may be available.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have a disability<\/strong>: Including long-term health conditions, mental health conditions, or specific learning difficulties.
