Overview
Centennial College was established in the 1960s and has welcomed over 2,000 international students during that time from countries including China, India, South Korea, and Brazil. It consists of five campuses across the Toronto region and is one of Canada's top 10 research colleges.
It was the first Community College in Toronto and now provides degree programs in several subject areas, including business, communication, engineering, and health community courses. In total, it covers over 100 pathways to further education and is the number one college for student satisfaction in the Toronto area.
State of the art facilities and partnerships with over 120 institutions across the world mean students are career and university ready once they leave Centennial College.
Services
Located in each academic school, Success Advisors can advise you on any academic questions you may have. They can help you connect with your faculty for industry and curriculum expertise. Success Advisors also help you set your academic goals and support your success at the College and beyond.
The College also offers free one-on-one and small group peer tutoring sessions. If you’re having trouble with a specific course, are looking to improve your English comprehension and communication skills, or master the language, you can get help from senior students through workshops and conversational sessions.
Accommodation
Centennial College offers on-campus as well as off-campus accommodation.
On-campus Accommodation
The convenience of living on campus combined with the Centennial College way of life is what Centennial Place provides. On-campus Accommodation offers modern accommodations at a prime location, including fully-furnished rooms, a 24-hour fitness centre with Peloton bikes, room service, an extensive study, and purpose-built lounges.
Off-campus Accommodation
The Centennial College Student Association Inc. (CCSAI) collaborates with Places4Students Inc., a provider of off-campus housing services. The company ensures that finding a home is hassle-free through its free-to-search database, which allows you to view the house before contacting the landlord.
Location
- Morning side Campus: The Morningside Campus is an environmentally friendly structure that houses the School of Community and Health Studies and a few Engineering Technology and Applied Science departments. It is tucked away in the Rouge Valley Conservation Area.
- Ashtonbee Campus: The School of Transportation, one of Canada's most extensive training facilities for the automobile and aviation industries, is located near Ashtonbee. Some Community and Health Studies programs are also housed there.
- Story Arts Campus Centre: The Story Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art arts campus and the ideal venue to unleash your creativity. It contains everything you need to release your inner genius because it houses the School of Communications, Media, Arts, and Design.
- Downsview Campus: Our long-running Aviation Technician programs and associated aircraft and equipment have been moved from the Ashtonbee Campus Hangar in Scarborough to Centennial College's Downsview Campus. In addition to new programs in aerospace manufacturing offered by our School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science, the new campus provides more classroom space for existing programs.
- Progress Campus: The Schools of Business and Hospitality, Tourism, and Culinary Arts are located in Progress. Additionally, you can discover numerous Child Studies and Community Service degrees and programs in Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Engineering Technology here.
