Overview
Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is the business faculty of the University of Manchester, a member of the prestigious Russell Group and one of the UK’s largest and most research-intensive universities. Founded in 1965, AMBS is among the oldest business schools in the UK and holds triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS, an elite status held by fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide.
The School offers:
- 14 undergraduate programmes with integrated industrial experience
- 16 postgraduate taught programmes across finance, marketing, analytics, and management
- Full-time MBA with flexible completion options (12, 15, or 18 months)
- Executive and Global MBAs, including the Kelly-Manchester Global MBA, delivered in partnership with Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business
Alliance Manchester Business School is also a CFA Institute University Affiliation Programme partner, reflecting the rigour and relevance of its finance curriculum. The School is ranked 2nd in the UK for business research power (REF 2021) and is known for applying research to real-world business challenges.
