UCAS Clearing is for students who are unable to secure an offer from a UK university for three main reasons:<\/p>\n
Clearing is how UK universities fill in vacancies on\u00a0courses<\/a>\u00a0which begin in\u00a0September, the start of the new academic year. Clearing begins each year in July and lasts until September.<\/p>\n SI-UK can assist students in finding available courses at UK universities. We will contact universities on your behalf and enquire if they are interested in accepting you as a student. Your personal consultant\u00a0will go through the Clearing list with you, discussing\u00a0subject options<\/a>\u00a0and university locations.<\/p>\n Once we have established which courses and universities you are interested in, your consultant will contact institutions on your behalf to find out if they are interested in accepting you as a student.<\/p>\n After we have contacted universities on your behalf, you may be informally offered a place at a number of institutions. If you are unfamiliar with the university, research the institution and area before accepting.<\/p>\n If you decide to accept an offer, you will need to enter your Clearing choice.
