Overview
Western International College (WesternIC) is a new international pathway college created through a strategic partnership between Navitas and Western University in London, Ontario. Announced in 2025, WesternIC will be the first Navitas pathway partnership in North America to support progression into both undergraduate and professional master’s degrees.
Western University is one of Canada’s leading research‑intensive institutions, ranked among the top 1% of universities worldwide and a founding member of the U15 group of Canadian research universities. WesternIC is located on Western’s west campus, formerly the Brescia campus, and will offer integrated academic preparation, study‑skills development, and wraparound social and academic support.
Services
WesternIC is designed specifically to support international students as they transition into Western University. The college offers an integrated programme combining academic coursework, study skills development and personalised support systems. These include wraparound academic advising, social support, and co‑curricular opportunities that help students build leadership and employability skills.
Rankings
Western University, the institution WesternIC feeds into, is ranked among the top 1% of higher education institutions worldwide and is recognised as one of Canada’s leading research‑intensive universities. It is a founding member of the U15 group of Canadian research universities, reflecting its strong research output, academic reputation and global impact.
Accommodation
WesternIC will be located on Western University’s west campus, formerly the Brescia campus, giving students access to Western’s established accommodation ecosystem. While specific WesternIC housing details have not yet been released, Western University traditionally offers a mix of residence halls, shared apartments and living‑learning communities for first‑year and international students.
Location
Western International College is based in London, Ontario, a mid‑sized, student‑friendly Canadian city known for its safety, green spaces and strong cultural scene.
