Overview
Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is a private research university established in 2003, with its main campus in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, and additional campuses in Al Ain, Dubai and Madinat Zayed. It is one of the UAE’s largest private institutions, enrolling around 8,000 students from more than 70 nationalities.
The university offers over 65 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across four colleges, supported by an English Language Institute. ADU is recognised for its strong international accreditation portfolio, including institutional accreditation from WASC and programme-level accreditations such as AACSB and EQUIS for Business, ABET for Engineering, and RIBA validation for Architecture. It is ranked among the top 250 universities globally in the 2026 Times Higher Education Rankings and holds the top position in the UAE for the teaching pillar.

Services

ADU ranks among the top 250 universities globally in the 2026 Times Higher Education Rankings and holds the 1st position in the UAE for the teaching pillar. It is also placed 9th in the Arab Region in the 2023 THE Arab University Rankings.
