Overview

Founded in 1959 by fashion designer Jean-Paul Morin, Montreal’s LaSalle College is Canada’s largest bilingual fashion school and a renowned hub of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

LaSalle College provides more than 60 programs in fashion arts, design, hotel management, tourism, VFX, game design, business, social sciences, and remote learning. It also provides other unique programs such as the Early Childhood Education (AEC) program, a 3D modelling online course and video game development.

LaSalle College offers bilingual programs, i.e. students can pursue their courses in French or English. Language courses are also available at the campus that open doors of employment in Quebec, where French is the official language. Other facilities at LaSalle College include La Classe Restaurant, active learning classrooms, a beauty space, a teaching kitchen, an educational bar, and hybrid classrooms.

LaSalle College has two campuses, one in Montreal and another in Laval. Interested students can get a 360-degree virtual tour of the campuses on its website. Local areas of interest near the college include Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montreal Forum, Cabot Square and many Asian restaurants.

For accessibility, the college is connected by three metro stations, several Bixi terminals and more than 15 bus routes. The closest airport to college is Montreal Airport (YUL), just a 16-minute (18km) drive away.
