Yes, a 3 year BSc degree will allow you to practice Physiotherapy in Canada. How long does it take to complete an MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) degree?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

An MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration)<\/a> degree takes 2 years to complete in the UK. Just as you would with a BSc Physiotherapy degree from the UK you will be required to follow the CAPR process upon your return to Canada. What is the difference between MSc Physiotherapy and MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration)?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

What qualifications do I need to study MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-reg) in the UK?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Applicants from North America will normally be expected to have achieved a minimum GPA equivalent to 60% (some will require at least 70%) in their undergraduate degree. Relevant experience is desirable such as shadowing, volunteering or visiting a clinic.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Many Canadian Physiotherapy graduates from the UK will return to Canada to work at a Physiotherapy clinic. However, there are many other options for Physiotherapy graduates.A Physiotherapy degree opens the door for various health and sports science careers including sports fitness (for a professional sports franchise, fitness centre\/club, senior care home or medical centre), specializations in pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological and post-surgery physiotherapy and clinical researcher.<\/p>\n

If your Canadian undergraduate grades are not sufficient to guarantee entry into the MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) program then we would advise that you apply for the BSc Physiotherapy program<\/a> with your high school grades.You will be required to study for 3 years in a BSc program instead of the MSc’s 2 years but following graduation, you will have the qualifications to practice physiotherapy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
