Canadian students who already have a university degree in any subject can study a two-year LLB\/JD in the UK, known as Graduate Entry Law, Senior Status Law, or an Accelerated LLB.<\/p>\n
This two-year Law degree covers all core modules and foundations of Law, generally allowing students to choose elective modules in the second year. A UK LLB degree is the equivalent of a Canadian Juris Doctor (JD) degree.<\/p>\n
To practise Law in Canada, students with LLB degrees from overseas universities will need to assess their qualifications with the National Committee on Accreditation<\/a> (NCA).
