Overview

McGill University is an English-language university in Quebec, a predominantly Francophone province of Canada. The University, established in 1821 by James McGill, a prominent Scottish Merchant in the province, is the oldest university in Montreal city of Quebec province in Canada.

McGill University ranks second among all Canadian universities and is also in the Canadian Ivy League. The immense contribution of universities in producing top corporate leaders, professionals in their respective domains, researchers, and scientists in different fields of study is widely acknowledged worldwide.
